Knowing that I had such a good time with finding the Sarah Palin Action Figure from a few weeks back, I was doubly amazed to find that there’s now a set of Cabbage Patch Kids dolls bearing the likeness of Obama & Biden and McCain & Palin being auctioned on eBay for charity. I do remember the craze from the 80’s… My sister even had one of the original cloth-faced dolls named Gail Jerry… (Don’t ask me about Clay Merrill…) But while the action figure was cool… These are just creepy…

I mean - doesn’t the McCain/Palin combination seem a bit like J. Howard Marshall & Anna Nicole Smith? Man… Only 6 more days of this kind of fun!!!

This day, October 6th marks not only my nephew’s birthday - but also Elisabeth Shue’s birthday! With a great set of movies to relive my 80’s and 90’s memory (The Karate Kid, Adventures in Babysitting, Cocktail, Back to the Future II & III, Leaving Las Vegas - and my personal favorite, The Saint) - I figured I’d send along some birthday wishes… Happy 45th!!

I’ve been enjoying the weekly Tina Fay / Sarah Palin spots on Saturday Night Live for the past few weeks just as a lot of you have been… Tina Fey hits Palin so dead on that I had a hard time watching the real debates without being reminded of these skits. So with that being said, last night’s Vice Presidential Debate’s skit had me just laughing the hardest…

“Are we not doing the talent portion?”
